Really? Can We Agree That It's Time to Talk Reform? A look at the govt's connection to the Drug industry

Can you say "conflict of interest"? I think this is scandalous. I'm not sure what it is, but I can sure tell you what it looks like. This should not be allowed. People should not be able to jump from CDC or FDA to a part of the industry they were paid to regulate. It's just as bad as someone determining who gets a military contract or a new bridge or highway... and then going to work for the people that got the money a couple years later. IT LOOKS BAD. We need reform here. There needs to be rules in place that disallow people from participating in this kind of act that LOOKS very much like a bribe or backroom deal. It LOOKS as though there was more to making the decision than just good quality for a good price. Maybe we need stronger reform so our govt officials don't LOOK so... what's the world... CORRUPT. http://amplify.com/u/18e8

From 2002-2006, Autism jumped 57%

(More recent estimates put this rate at 1 in 85 kids rather than what this study from 2006 says which is 1:110) This is such a shame. The medical professionals are asking Pres Obama to shell out billions of dollars to find why autism keeps rising. It's vaccinations! Leave a segment of the population (100,000) unvaccinated for 15 years and let's see what the result is. It's not rocket science. Ask the moms of the autistic kids. They know. One day their child was progressing and thriving, then the child gets vaccinated, soon after the parents notice a difference. Let's solve this problem once and for all. Then people can decide if they want to roll the dice. Prevent a disease like measles, mumps rubella, chicken pox, Hepatitis B, etc, or increase the child's risk for a developmental disease which will affect the child forever. I just had someone try and argue with me that their child got mumps and is now hearing impaired. I try and compare that to the parent that tried to prevent a disease and now they have a difficult time communicating with their child and their child is in a class for impaired children. Grrrr. To me it's about choices. Someone else might choose risk of autism as the less or 2 evils. I believe we just need to be given the facts so we can make informed choices. http://amplify.com/u/185w
