Being Bad at Math is a Disorder?!?

This website has a list of DSM IV (there is currently a new book with even more) diagnoses. The goal of this book appears to be to categorize every stubborn personality, every non-compliant personal trait, issues with people, parents, siblings as a DISORDER. The more diagnoses they can come up with, the more likely they (psychiatrists, school systems, prisons, etc) are to justify treatment and to get insurance reimbursement or government funding (based on the fact that they have a higher percentage of "diseased" kids compared to "normal" kids. It's a runaway train. It happens in the medical system too, but there at least appear to be some checks and balances there. The people with the most to gain appear to be the ones rewriting the reimbursement manuals. Course this may benefit me. I am not a big fan of talking on the phone. So maybe in DSM VI I will get to finally have my PHONE AVERSION disorder recognized. Maybe I can even get a disability sticker for my phone. http://amplify.com/u/26nc
